London at night - established by the Underground sign - and specifically late 70s Soho - established by the neon lights showing cinema posters for Emmanuelle 2 and Come Play With Me, including one which shows Mary Millington sitting on a man's back in the massage scene, and, presumably with intentional satire, one neon sign proclaiming "Rip Off!".

A man chats up a girl at the entrance to a cinema and they go back to her flat. She makes him coffee and then they have sex. He leaves and she is upset to find that he has left money on the bedside table.
