Running time: 81 mins.
Dating from a time when girls had big hairdos and scenes were shot in the semi-dark with a bluish glow, Stuart Canterbury's 1995 film Four Weddings & A Honeymoon has been re-issued on DVD.
The plot is simple: Out on his bachelor party with Mike Horner and Kyle Stone, bridegroom to be Tom Chapman wonders if he is doing the right thing. In flashbacks between the strippers at the party, we get to see how Tom met Kaitlyn Ashley, along with episodes from Kyle and Mike's life.
Mike tells of his own wedding day... Heading off on their honeymoon, Mike sat beside his new wife Roxanne on a plane. The flight was long and the two were desperate for sex. Heading to the lavatory, the newly weds joined the mile high club. Pressed against the door, Mike peeled down Roxanne's panties to get at her pussy. Lifting her white dress, she shuffled round in the cramped space and let him lick her tits. With his cock out, Roxanne crouched to suck. Propped up on the sink, the two shagged. Mike manoeuvred his way to the toilet and sat to allow Roxanne ride him reverse. After firing his load over Roxanne's face, the pair went back to their seats.
Though it was filmed in the mid 90's, stylistically Four Weddings & A Honeymoon could have been shot 10 years earlier and looks dated. The action is all relatively short and inter-cut with some not very convincing scenes of the party - a group of guys sitting on a row of chairs letting out the occasional Whoopee! On the up side, the film does contain some of Roxanne Hall's early work in the states (pre-boob job) and though cramped in a toilet, her performance is good. One for the historians.
